"Suspense: Good Night"
This will be brief. (I was born in 1944) When I grew up, we did not have a television until 1955. I listened to the radio, and one of my favorite programs was "Suspense." The episode I remember most vividly was "The Giant of Thermopylae" (with character actor, Frank Lovejoy as the Narrator/Star). My nine-year old self just could not understand it, and it had haunted me ever since I first heard it. When I saw that you were offering this collection of "Suspense" programs from 1952 through 1955, including "The Giant of Thermopylae," I HAD to buy it. Last week I listened to it during a massage. I discovered there was nothing mysterious about it: it was 'off the beaten path' for entertainment, but there were no life-defining 'hidden secrets' about the story telling or performances. That's a relief! Now, I can investigate other incidents from my past. I intend to listen to all the other programs, though none of the titles bring back any memories from my 'radio-listening youth'. Thanks for making it available.
