For over forty years, Seattle-based radio personality Jim French kept the flame of radio drama alive with Imagination Theatre! Noir-ish private eye Harry Nile, globetrotting adventurer Dameron, Kincaid The Strangeseeker, the methodical investigator Mr. Darnborough -- plus fresh new takes on Raffles The Gentleman Thief, and even Sherlock Holmes himself - all had compelling stories to tell.
Here is a collection of some of Jim French's best work. It's new-time radio in the old-time style!

Imagination Theatre - The Investigators
I knew what to expect with a collection that includes The Adventures of Harry Nile and the Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I was pleasantly surprised by the other characters and stories that completed the collection. Kudos to the writers and the casts that wrote and recorded these stories. Yes, many of the stories were truly from the imagination of minds far more clever than mine.
Haven't listened to all of it yet, but what I've heard is about what I expected.
outstanding mystery cd's
This set is a great variety of mystery programs by the Jim French group
shows are great. wish it was in mo3 format.
love the shows
Wish it was longer! My daughter and I love listening to audiobooks & stories on long trips. This is top notch!
I really love the Collections offered when they are on sale
I found Jim French's Imagination Theatre on my Sirius XM dial and loved it. I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan from way back and the new Holmes stories didn't insult my intelligence as many have. I've since branched out into other IT productions. And when they advertised The Investigators, I figured, "why not?" The discount made the purchase a no-brainer. I haven't listened to it all yet, but I'm just making a dent in the Harry Nile disc right now. Enjoying every minute of it.
Imagination Theatre: The Investigators
Overall very good but the audio volume was inconsistent. Made listening in the car somewhat difficult.
Many selections are hard to understand
waste of money
