Product Description
Presented here are thirty Western stories of unparalleled realism and uncompromising emotional complexity. Marshal Matt Dillon (William Conrad) doesn't revel in violence, but he uses it because he lives in a violent place at a violent time, where only the violent can survive.
Standing by the Marshal are his shambling deputy Chester (Parley Baer), his acerbic confidant Doc (Howard McNear), and the pretty saloon girl Kitty (Georgia Ellis). Townspeople, ranchers, gunfighters, and lost souls are drawn to Dodge City for encounters with Dillon. Some walk away. Some don't.

Great audio quality, some issues with file information
Overall a great CD set, you will not be disappointed with the audio quality or the voice acting. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is because several of the discs do not have the correct information coded with the files. Meaning the CDs play fine but on your car CD player it will say some other file name and musician name. Some of the tracks were identified as Chinese, some of them showed up as gospel. Again, everything plays perfectly, you are getting a great CD set with a cool case as well. It would just be nice if they went through and fixed some of the electronic tags that are messing up the information on the files.

Gunsmoke Bloody Hands
This is a wonderful series. Well performed and ahead of its time. Thoughtful and respectful and just a joy. I put a story about Gunsmoke in my book "Leaving Cancer for the Circus" which you can access by audio or print by going to my website dannyclinkscale.com. That being said, this is a wonderful series, and the set is well presented and definitely worth having. William Conrad is a treasure.
